I haven't been this excited about a shoot in a while. It was a great break from my photographic routine. I couldn't take my Polaroid, so my go to camera is out. I had to pack light(ish) since it was 110 degrees with limited shade. So I can't pack everything like normal. And it wasn't portraits, models, or place settings at a wedding. I had no clue what I was doing and I had no rut to fall back into for these shots. It was relieving. It was liberating.

Warped Tour | David Miller Photography
A few weeks ago I won a contest from a local radio station to be one of their official Warped Tour photographers. I got a press pass and got to shoot the bands from in front of the barriers. As far as that particular music scene goes, I'm an old man at 27. I didn't know most of the bands that were there, but there were a few I was beyond excited about shooting.
